My passion for health and wellness started from an early age as I was an athlete all of my life. After beginning college, I transitioned from training on a soccer field to training in a gym. I fell in love with the feeling of being strong and I loved the empowerment I felt from weight lifting.
But it wasn’t always that way. It took someone holding my hand through the gym to get me comfortable enough to be able to go by myself. That was a 1.5 year process.
4 years later I graduated with my B.S. in Kinesiology as a NASM certified personal trainer, an EXOS certified Performance Specialist, a TRX specialist, and as a whole new person. I have a completely new perspective on the body and mind. I have spent countless hours diving deeper into why our bodies work the way they do, how optimal performance is achieved, and how the 23 hours we don't spend in the gym affect the 1 hour that we do. It is now my mission to empower as many people as I can to take that first step to hit the gym, to develop that love for feeling strong, and to learn that health feels great. Once you’re hooked, there’s no going back.
